Buenos dias! Que pasa?!

I'm here in good spirits. It's Christmas time, I'm a missionary, the Church is true! What more could I need?

Yesterday, Elder Anthony D. Perkins of the Quorum of the Seventy came and spoke to all the North Carolina missionaries in the Chesapeake Mission yesterday in Goldsboro. That is an inspired man right there. So loving and full of the Spirit! He spoke to us all about Preach My Gospel and its importance to us as missionaries. He knows that book so well, as well as its inspired history being written by the prophets and apostles. He broke it down in a way that finally made sense to me. The whole conference was amazing and I got to use my music skills once again to be the chorister.

We have been teaching two Cubans, R** and J** (names omitted for privacy), and they both committed to be baptized on January 4th. We are so excited for them.

We are continuing to visit R** and help her learn the gospel. She is so kind and we actually got to eat some of the best 'mole poblano' in the world yesterday at her house.

On Friday, it was 80 degrees outside. It was the strangest thing in the whole world. Then the next couple days were freezing and rainy. Then yesterday the whole day was completely foggy. The weather out here is crazy, but I love it.

This gospel is absolutely true. We are trying to look for good service opportunities this Christmas season. It's a perfect time when people's hearts are a little more softened. Look for missionary opportunities as you go out comforting those that are struggling from loneliness this Christmas.

Thank you all for your support and prayers. I love you all!

Con amor,

Elder Remund
